12-String Guitar Tuner Simple App Reviews

Not a tuner in the way most tuners work, pluck a string and it tells you if you are high or low , this one makes you tune by ear, not easy for most people!

Wouldnt recommend this "tuner" app, better off buying an actual guitar tuner.

THIS IS NOT A TUNER!!! They charge 0.99 for giving the notes out, not for a tuner!! There are actual tuners for six string guitars that might help. Keep away from this!!

I bought this and all you see is guitar and you cant do anything with it then it times out and returns to the main page. I want my money back!

I bought the App installed it and it opened to the beginning then closed. It never worked once

If I wanted notes for a 12 string guitar I would play them on my piano or pitch pipe. This is not at all what I expected. Bob Finlay

Does not have a pickup to direct your tuning. Waste of money

Unbelievable. It doesnt "hear" the note you play, it only plays a synth note you want to tune to.

Very easy to use, tuned my guitar perfectly in about a minute.

Very nice and handy. One thing is missing that some 12-string players really need, and that is a handy way to "tune down" the strings as many 12-strings cant be tuned as tight as regular six strings. Id like to tune it the bottom string to a D, for example, instead of an E.

For what this app does, its actually pretty decent. I was hoping for a tuner that actually listens to the strings and tells you flat or sharp, but instead it actually plays the notes and you tune your strings to the notes. But it works surprisingly well. I have a super-sensitive acoustic 12-string (pain to keep In tune, even with my perfect pitch) that I actually tune to standard tuning, and this app helped me get the tuning down perfectly in under a minute. This app is very bare-bones. No config, no nothing. Just tap the string you want to tune, and youll hear a sampled guitar string tuned to the proper note. I had no trouble running this on my 16-gig iPhone 4 w/iOS 6. Dont know why others had trouble. Perhaps you need to try double-clicking your home key and shutting down those other apps running in the background?

Your update broke this app. It no longer works. Loads up a picture of a guitar then crashes. Please fix.
